Those of you that are local to or from Oxford will already know of these two characters from the local scene spanning back years and years. This year see's a new approach from the local artists in the arrival of their collective The Fr3e Lions and the dropping of their debut album Freedom is A Must.

Now I'm not going to lie and tell you that this album is breaking new ground for the uk hiphop scene but this release is a solid, conscious collection of music for all the true heads out there that don't relate to songs about cars and money. If there's one him these two have mastered over the years it's the way they tell their everyday struggles and reality in their lyricism.

Around our city they have a good reputation for putting on sick live shows and being continuously active within the local area so I urge you to check them out at a show if your ever local or grab a copy of their cd and help support uk underground hiphop with meaning.
