Check out the showreel below!

and grab the release from itunes HERE

Now I know for a fact that 99% of our fans and followers already know who Darx is but if you've been hiding in a cave for the last few years this EP is a good place to start. This EP is proof of why Darx is one of my top rated producers from the midlands, whether it be his gut wrenching bass, skull smashing drums or his airy symphonies this EP will indulge the beast inside you.

This is one of many new releases from the Dark Elements team this year with Big Mikee's "Stampede EP" (HERE), Skinzmann dropping "Pharmaceutical EP" "Dubplates, Knoves & Forks" and more (HERE) and with forthcoming releases including Darx - Hench EP, Big Mikee - Porkpie EP and Mr Traumatik's new album "Don't Judge A Cd By It's Cover". Dark Elements have been one of my favorate collectives for a long time now and this year more people are finally waking up and paying attention!

In my opinion this release from Darx provides some of his most complete tracks to date, With his usual grotty swagger and hard hitting beats this release is for fans, DJ's and MC's alike. Make sure you grab yourself a copy from the link at the top of this page and support the cause by checking out the showreel and sharing this review!

@DJBigMikee - Pork Pie EP (Review)

It's not been too long since the legendary midlands figurehead that is Big Mikee released his last instrumental "Stampede EP" and I'm sure most of you have been blasting out for the last 3 months or so, if not you can read our review and grab it HERE

Without letting the dust have chance to settle he's back again with another classic EP from the Dark Elements camp. The original mix of Pork Pie is an absolute sub low monster with hard hitting drums and the typical Big Mikee flair. The uk grime legend always brings the goods when it comes to instrumentals but this gem is deffinetly among some of his personal best in my opinion.

As usual Dark Elements producers Darx and Skinzmann are involved with both having remixes on this EP, Darx going for the subtle stinker and Skinzmann coming with a heavy sludgeball of a riddim. The other two tracks on this release are both remixes by well respected members of the grime producers scene and both work their usual magic to create memorable remixes.

The producers in question are midlands guru Swifta Beater and London grime mogul Spooky. As expected Swifta uses his catchy, polished sound to create a remix that will ensure this EP further recognition than it was already going to get and Spooky has taken the Pork Pie stems, taken them to within an inch of death, revived them and combined them as one humongous evil riddim.

We are very privileged to of received this EP before release and can garuntee Big Mikee's supporters, affiliates and the grime scene in general will ensure that this release gets the solidified respect and exposure that it deserves.

Share this post and spread the word as Pork Pie EP is dropping around the end of July and is going to take the scene by storm yet again

Dark Elements EP Pt 1 - @DJBigMikee (Review)

It's that time of the year where the nights slowly creep in and the cold begins to chill you to the bone, the same effect as this EP will have on you when it drops on the 27th of October.

Dark Elements have had a big year in 2014 with a lot of releases and movements coming to light but if you think that's about to stop now you are grossly mistaken. This EP is the first in a 4 part series of instrumental releases from the collective, perfectly showcasing the diverse talent that each of their production members have in the chamber.

If you know your music you will already know the signature vibe of Big Mikee's production by now combining gritty, swamp like bass lines with well structured percussion and flawless craftsmanship.

This EP showcases some of his best work to date but at the same time I know for a fact that this is only him firing on 49% of what he can produce. By that I dont mean that this EP is halfhearted, far from it in fact it's a polished piece of art that is garunteed to lock off any dance. I just know that there is a lot more to come from Mikee in the next few years that is going to leave certain producers crying into their vocoders.

Keep your eyes peeled for the release of this EP and make sure you support our scene by purchasing it adding it to your collection. Wether your a fan, DJ, artist or just a supporter of Grime music, this release is garunteed to get you skanking in the very near future!

This month brings the second installment in the series, this one produced but sub low filth monger Darx. This EP is full to the brim with your typical Darx grittiness but something within these riddims makes the whole production value of the EP sound a lot more complete than usual.

We are very lucky to of received a copy of the EP before its scheduled release and i can tell you that this is a must have EP for any DJ, Mc or general grime music fan.

@Skinzmann - Pharmaceutical EP (Review) @Titanium_Audio

Grab yourself a copy HERE

We are working closely with new label Titanium Audio and this week will be bringing you 4 new reviews of forthcoming releases from them by such producers as Skinzmann, Dubzta, K1 & Flexa.

The first in this group is TAUDIO001 - Skinzmann - Pharmaceutical EP

I remember receiving a copy of this EP from Dark Elements filth monger Skinzmann a few days before it dropped on iTunes and from the moment I heard it I have not stopped spinning it! This was the first release to come from new label Titanium Audio after label kingpin Marcus Coorley hit up Skinzmann and linked up the pairing.

This EP in my opinion was a whole new area for Skinzmann's production. We all know he is among the grottiest, filthiest, swampy producers around and even if you haven't heard of him you would of heard his beats being vocalled by the likes of Mayhem NODB, Mr Traumatik and many many more.

These four tracks were the first Trap styled beats I'd heard from and I can quite honestly say they had me wanting to throw a free party and pump them out through a big rig setup. Luckily for those of you that hear this EP and have the same thought, you can catch Skinzmann alongside DJ Big Mikee, Traumatik, Sox, Jaykae, Devilman and more at this years NAS Festival.

Were also excited to announce we are working closely with Dark Elements crew this year including the forthcoming Summer Spray Out Elite mixtape featuring beats from Skinzmann, Big Mikee and Darx. You can check out full details for that release HERE

@DJBigMikee - Dark Valley EP (Review)

Im pretty confident that anyone with a clue about grime will already know the work rate and effort that Big Mikee has put into the scene for the last few years and then some. The hard working producer/DJ is back once again with a brand new instrumental release ready to twist the mind of all of you.

As well as grinding hard on the Whos Da Boss platform as well as his own Prizefighter platform and regular Sunday show on the legendary Silk City radio, Mikee has found the time to put together 10 of the dankest, darkest dubs that you will hear in 2015.

Available in the next month via all digital outlets, the Dark Valley EP showcases exactly what we all know and love from Mikee and his productions now, Groove setting, pounding beats with gritty sub low basslines and plenty of clout in their delivery.

This release is just one of a few to come from the Dark Elements spartan this year and i already know the next few movements from this very underrated producer/DJ are going to open a lot of eyes and ears! Coming up in the business we hae always supported Mikee and he too has supported us and our team more than most so a massive shout goes out to him and make sure you all pay homage by grabbing this release when it drops!
