@DJBigMikee - Dark Valley EP (Review)

Im pretty confident that anyone with a clue about grime will already know the work rate and effort that Big Mikee has put into the scene for the last few years and then some. The hard working producer/DJ is back once again with a brand new instrumental release ready to twist the mind of all of you.

As well as grinding hard on the Whos Da Boss platform as well as his own Prizefighter platform and regular Sunday show on the legendary Silk City radio, Mikee has found the time to put together 10 of the dankest, darkest dubs that you will hear in 2015.

Available in the next month via all digital outlets, the Dark Valley EP showcases exactly what we all know and love from Mikee and his productions now, Groove setting, pounding beats with gritty sub low basslines and plenty of clout in their delivery.

This release is just one of a few to come from the Dark Elements spartan this year and i already know the next few movements from this very underrated producer/DJ are going to open a lot of eyes and ears! Coming up in the business we hae always supported Mikee and he too has supported us and our team more than most so a massive shout goes out to him and make sure you all pay homage by grabbing this release when it drops!

Dont forget you can get your tickets for the Prizefighter finals on the 26th July HERE

Dark Elements EP Pt 2 - @DarxOfficial (Out Now!)

You may remember a couple months back, the Dark Elements team put out the first of a 4 part series of instrumental EP's with the first being from Big Mikee. This is still available HERE

This month brings the second installment in the series, this one produced but sub low filth monger Darx. This EP is full to the brim with your typical Darx grittiness but something within these riddims makes the whole production value of the EP sound a lot more complete than usual.

We are very lucky to of received a copy of the EP before its scheduled release and i can tell you that this is a must have EP for any DJ, Mc or general grime music fan.

You can now grab it from BANDCAMP or ITUNES

@DrDimensional & @Smallzdeep - Extreme Lyricist (Audio)

After much talk surrounding the forthcoming drum & bass album from Dark Elements member Traumatik, he has finally released a track from it entitled "Extreme Lyricist" and featuring Smallzdeep!

Look out for the album dropping very soon!

@DarxOfficial - SNM (Out Now)

Grab your copy HERE

As a little Black Friday gift to you, Dark Elements mastermind Darx has dropped a sick little collection of beats at a bargain price!

Im still struggling to recovery from the greeze that was on his last release (Hench EP get it HERE) and now for the price of just £5.53 you can own a new batch of instrumental psychoticness from Darx. The thing that i love about this EP is the fact that Darx wont produce something that you could play to your nan at the dinner table and furthermore he wont water his music down for anyone.

Darx is a consistent supplier of the darker side of grime instrumentalism hence why he is one of our favourite producers in the current uk scene.

Tracklist:

1. Alien Resident

2. Crematorium

3. Dimensional

4. Black Milk

5. Curiosity

6. Mars Quake

@DrDimensional aka Mr Traumatik - Psychedelic Ascension (Audio)

Just when i thought i couldn't rate Dark Elements/Sticky Lemons/Overload Squad member Mr Traumatik any more he goes and drops this absolutely colossal hip hop track over a legendary instrumental!

I honestly cannot wait to see what the next 5 years brings for this talented welsh artists as he seems to go from strength to strength on a daily basis!

The Grime Show: @Mayhem_NODB & DaMenzdem

@DarkElementzz - Massacre Mix Ft @DrDimensional @BadnessImangie @Fiasqo @Devilman_Wunsen

Its been a long time coming but finally you can get the brand new grime mix from the Dark Elements team. This mix is packed full of dutty riddims and on microphone duty are Traumatik, Fiasqo, Badness and Devilman!

KIP Anthem (@DJBigMikee & @HoaxBeats Rips)

So as your all aware our first proper team cd is coming up and to support this the main single from the project has been appearing everywhere on loads of stations.

Aswell as getting spins on Empire LDN, Style Uk & Desire Radio, it also received two plays last night. Dark Elements member and birmingham veteran DJ Big Mikee span it on the legendary Silk City Radio and production mastermind Hoax Beats also spun it on InnerBass Radio

Produced by So Real Sounds and featuring Billy Boi, Tence, Smokeymase & Terra Montana this is the lead single from the forthcoming Don't Sleep On Us Cd and will also have an official video dropping in the very near future via our good friends at Delahayetv

Dark Elements EP Pt 1 - @DJBigMikee (Review)

It's that time of the year where the nights slowly creep in and the cold begins to chill you to the bone, the same effect as this EP will have on you when it drops on the 27th of October.

Dark Elements have had a big year in 2014 with a lot of releases and movements coming to light but if you think that's about to stop now you are grossly mistaken. This EP is the first in a 4 part series of instrumental releases from the collective, perfectly showcasing the diverse talent that each of their production members have in the chamber.

If you know your music you will already know the signature vibe of Big Mikee's production by now combining gritty, swamp like bass lines with well structured percussion and flawless craftsmanship.

This EP showcases some of his best work to date but at the same time I know for a fact that this is only him firing on 49% of what he can produce. By that I dont mean that this EP is halfhearted, far from it in fact it's a polished piece of art that is garunteed to lock off any dance. I just know that there is a lot more to come from Mikee in the next few years that is going to leave certain producers crying into their vocoders.

Keep your eyes peeled for the release of this EP and make sure you support our scene by purchasing it adding it to your collection. Wether your a fan, DJ, artist or just a supporter of Grime music, this release is garunteed to get you skanking in the very near future!

@DrDimensional - Sick Demented Monsta (Prod. By @HexProducer)

Sick new drum and bass track from Dark Elements member Traumatik over a big producer by Hex Beats.

@TheRealKriptik & @Eljay_Eljizzle - Soundclash (Prod. By @Skinzmann)

Sick new track from Nottingham duo Kriptik and Eljay produced by Dark Elements sludge maker Skinzmann!

And look out for Eljays forthcoming EP Bring Dem Murda for which we will be starting a big promotion campaign very soon!

@FlexaG - Bulletproof EP (Review) @Titanium_Audio

We are working closely with new label Titanium Audio and this week will be bringing you 4 new reviews of forthcoming releases from them by such producers as Skinzmann, Dubzta, K1 & Flexa.

The third in this group is TAUDIO003 - Flexa G - Bulletproof EP

You can check out the previous reviews below:
 TAUDIO001 - Skinzmann - Pharmaceutical EP HERE
TAUDIO002 - Dubzta - Incredible EP HERE

By now im pretty sure your aware of the series of absolutely mental releases that are coming your way from new label Titanium Audio and label godfather Marcus Coorley and this third installment is by no means any less sick than the rest!

Ive got to admit, previous to receiving this EP id not heard of Kent based producer Flexa G so i did a little bit of research and looked into some of his previous work. Flexa is a dubstep producer signed to Mana Badman Records that's been produced sludgy filth for a number of years now and has gained quite an online following.

Having only recently been made aware of his i couldn't comment on whether this new Bulletproof EP is his best work to date but i can tell you that this EP is going to make a big splash for him and more than certainly will get him a lot of love from the grime scene and its artists and producers alike.

Even before its due to have a release date alone one of the riddims have already been vocalled by two figureheads of the grime community. Dark Elements members Devilman and Traumatik recently vocalled track 3 "The Chant" for which you can hear a clip below

All in all this is yet again a sick release from the Titanium Audio camp and i highly recommend that you grab it along with the rest when each is dropped!

Tracklist

1. Bulletproof
2. M20
3. The Chant
4. The Joker
