@PositiveVibeCru - Around The World EP (Review)

Now a lot of you may not of heard of Positive Vibes Crew but here at Knowledge Is Power we've known and worked with them for a number of years on multiple videos, projects, gigs and more. They've spent the majority of this year so far travelling the world playing in Poland, Germany and many more locations all over the globe. Now for a small collective from the city of Oxford this alone is a huge accomplishment but their success is about to become even greater.  The 1st of May this year will mark the release of their debut EP "Around The World" produced in Berlin and recorded at Nonpareil Studios, which we have had the pleasure of owning for promotional and reviewing purposes. Now you may be thinking "Here comes another hyped up grime crew or hiphop collective trying to prove their right to rise from the gutter" but if this is your first thought then you clearly do not know the diversity of the clients we work with and Positive Vibes Crew are definitely proof of said diversity.

This EP truly is a classic of modern times combining the microphone presence of Shaun Michael, harmonic and uplifting vocals of Shumba Youth and dubplate skills of DJ Garvin Dan. It will take you about 30 seconds into track one to concrete your new found love of this collective as their EP takes you on a journey of mind, body and soul triggered by positivity and love in audio form.

One of the stand out tracks from the EP is a track called Chill Out for which you can view the music video just above this text. On "Chill Out" the music provides you with a release from whatever stress you may endure in your personal life and will leave you smiling and relaxed by the moment the last chord is played.

All in all this is a timeless release that will bring joy to any music lover no matter what background you come from, no matter what troubles and strife you proceed to go through day in day out, this is a release that is always there at the end of a hard day to put you back on a positive level.

And don't forget if your local (or want to be part of the movement) to head down to one of Oxfords finest venues; The Cellar on the 4th of May for the "All Around The World" EP launch party and celebrate the coming of the EP with the Positive Vibes Crew. 

Doors open at 10pm and kick out at 3am, there will be deals on drinks that night and entry is free before 11:30pm and £5 after

Headliner on the night will be the one and only Marvelous Cain and there will also be support acts on the night including: The Dublings, Jamatone, Zaia and DJ's D Ninety and Leo B
