Now i know there's going to be some naive people out there that think its only recently that midlands artists have started to clash and that Whos Da Boss may just be an imitation of LOTM. Anyone that thinks that is a narrow minded fool who clearly has minimal knowledge of the midlands scene
Whos Da Boss is a whole different breed of animal, with its integrated scoring system judged on crowd reaction and wheel ups i personally prefer this format to that of other clashing platforms. This allows there to be a winner there and then, ultimately it will be the fans that buy the DVD that truly decide who won but the way these clashes are scored in the heat of the moment is by far the fairest way for all involved.
We at Knowledge Is Power will be at this event covering some of the footage with our good friends at DelaHayeTv and will also be doing a few behind the scenes interviews so look out for that to drop around the same time as the DVD.
Now if you don't already know, Whos Da Boss clashes are filmed behind a cage which adds even more grit to the tense and as Big Mikee would say "Sticky" atmospheres in each clash. The WDB creative team have also brought in a new concept this year in the form of the "Eliminator" clash.
The Eliminator is essentially an all out war in the catch between 6 artists. In the eliminator clash are; Darx (not the producer), Reapz, JMarnz, Izzie Gibbs, Strika and Slickzz.
Three pairs of colored bands will go into a hat, then each artist will pick one from the hat and the artists with matching colors will clash each other. After the first round there will be 3 artist eliminated and the last 3 artists left standing will clash in a 3 way triple threat clash. This will then eliminate one final artists leaving us with two artists who will then clash to decide the winner.
This is an interesting new concept to bring into a live clash platform and the line up for this features some very talented artists. A few of the clashes for the DVD have already taken place and been filmed for the dvd including Jayeye Vs Eyez, Sparx Vs Sin Seer and the clash that the whole scene is talking about, Cadell Vs Novelist.
The main clash on the night of this event will be FRB member Geckz against OneAway member Shorty D and looks set to be a legendary clash between two sick artists both doing big things for themselves and their collectives right now. You can check out both their Send B4 The War disses by clicking HERE
Also on the night will be live sets and performances from FRB, Invasion Alert, Full Force ENT along with live PA's of "Froggy" by Dapz On The Map & Jaykae, Bruk Up The Place by Marshy and more!
