@OfficialDotz - The Life & Times Of John Rockwell (Review)

We've followed Dotz and his music for a few years now, whether it was his career in UK battle rap upon the Dont Flop stage or his releases alongside Si Philli as Philli'N'Dotz. This year has brought many an accomplishment and after a successful release with his Filthy Funk side project (If you haven't check out that album HERE) hes back with yet another project!

"The Life And Times Of John Rockwell" is a collaborative EP with well known producer Richy Spitz, combing big ballsy instrumentals with Dotz usual venomous, composed lyricism. One of my personal favourates from this release if the track "Be Honest" with its catch hook and boom bap beat, the way Dotz constantly seems to battle with his self lyrically does nothing more than grip me and throw me into a trance of pure uk hiphop pleasure.

The release is combined of a few freshly written tracks and a couple dug out from the vaults for good measure. As it stands this is more of a teaser than an EP as it provides you with an insight of what's to come on Dotz debut solo album which will be produced entirely by Richy Spitz. Go support these two and pre order the release right now!
